This Project was started over 40 years ago when we were living in Kettering Ohio.Judy was taking a ceramics class and had completed many projects including lamps, vases, Hummel-like figurenes, and another chess set for her brother.After the 5th child came along, this partialy completed chess set was put in storage.Forty years later, Jim was cleaning out the storage shed and found the ceramic bisque pieces.The pieces were finished glazing and firing in San Diego.
